Jerry Long, 56, of St. Clairsville, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on November 11, 2023.  He was born on March 29, 1967 in Fletcher, NC, to the late James and Margaret (Crisp) Long.

Jerry was a happy, jolly, jokester that could lighten the mood anywhere he went.   He enjoyed fishing and watching birds and wildlife; he was especially fond of eagles.  He loved having his morning coffee on the porch with his wife, Misty.  He liked to scavenge with a metal detector for hidden treasures.   He was a coin and knife collector.  He had fun gambling at the slots and watching the Washington Redskins.  Jerry was well liked by everyone.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Misty Long; children, Scott (Rachel) Drake, Talisha Long (Michael Ivey), Russell (Stephanie) Heller, Megan (Thomas) Drago, Ryan Stokes and Miranda Long; siblings, Deb Baldwin McPeters, Angela Long, Jason (Melissa) Long, Bryan Long; six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to calling hours on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 12pm until time of service at 3pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, Bethesda Chapel, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio 43719.  Cremation to follow.
