McCracken, Jerry C., 74, of St. Clairsville, formerly of Laipple Street, Bridgeport, Ohio, died Sunday May 9, 2010 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born November 15, 1935, a son of the late Harry and Claira McCracken. Jerry was a retired employee of Picoma Industries of Martins Ferry and a member of the United Church of God, Wheeling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Koch; two sisters: Marlene Hartman, Brenda McCracken and a brother Daniel McCracken. Jerry is survived by his wife Peggy Reasbeck Heavner; sons: Jerry McCracken (Regina) of St. Clairsville, Randy McCracken (Tonya) of Columbus, Ohio, Wayne McCracken (Diane) of Rayland, two daughters: Erin Miller (fiancé George Stromatos), Elizabeth Hernandez (Edwin) of Mexia, TX., step-son, James Belanus of Byesville, Ohio; six brothers: Bobby McCracken of Mt. Pleasant, Ohio, David McCracken (Genevia) of Elington, FL., Earl McCracken (Portia) of Wheeling, Ronnie McCracken (Liz) of Cleveland, Ohio, Harry McCracken (Beth) of St. Clairsville, James McCracken (Barbara) of Wheeling, three sisters: Cheryl White of Martins Ferry, Peggy Russell (Bernie) of Triadelphia, Donna Cassity (Phillip) of Wheeling; fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday 5-9 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, where services will be held Wednesday May 12, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Don Henson, officiating. Interment will follow at Linwood Cemetery, Blaine, Ohio
