Jerry West "JT" Tamburin, 61, of Bridgeport, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021, in his home.  He was born on January 14, 1960, in Wheeling a son of the late Charles and (Hattie) Tamburin and Cynthia (Coleman) Tamburin.  JT was a member and retired from the WV Laborers Union Local 1149 after over 20 years of service.  He was a legend in the area with the Island All Stars softball team where he played and managed the team for many years with his father.  JT also loved hunting, fishing, boxing and bragging about his daughter and grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Erica Tamburin; a brother, Charles (Shannon) Tamburin; two sisters, Nadine Zambori and Elita Usenick; two grandchildren, Ryah Rotilio and Kyler Tamburin; lifelong friend, Connie Tamburin and several nieces and nephews.

JT was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Susie Jo Tamburin.

Friends may call Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021 from 5-7 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.  A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 7 pm in the funeral home.
