Jessie E. (Beavon) Craver, 80, of Colerain, OH died Thur., Nov. 29, 2007 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Long Term Care, Martins Ferry, OH. She was born Feb. 2, 1927 in Martins Ferry, OH a daughter of the late David F. Sr. and Margaret (Deegan) Beavon. She was a member of the Colerain Presbyterian Church, and a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Martins Ferry Fire Department. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Craver, a son Kenneth D. Craver, Sr., and a brother David F. Beavon, Jr. Surviving are a daughter Jackie Lee (Raymond) Marling of Bridgeport, OH, a sister Helen (Donald) Yablonski of Martins Ferry, five grandchildren Kenneth Craver, Sr., Carolee Kinder, Robert Becker, III, Heather Becker and Jack Becker, ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday 12- 3 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Monday Dec. 3, 2007 at 1:00 PM with Rev. John A. Brown officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 870 Michigan Ave., Columbus, OH 43215-1165.
