Jo Ann (Long) Rinderer, 74, of Broadway St., Martins Ferry, OH died Sat., Apr. 10, 2004 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, OH. She was born Dec. 10, 1929 in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Rhodes) Long. She was a retired office manager for Nickles Bakery of Martins Ferry. Jo Ann was also a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Martins Ferry, Bridgeport Chap. #452 Order of Eastern Star, and the Gamma Chapter of Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William G. Rinderer, Sr. in 1989, two brothers Jack and Charles Long, and five sisters Virginia, Dorothy, Marie, Ella, and Lil. Surviving are a son William G. Rinderer, Jr. and his wife Sharon of Martins Ferry and a daughter Cheryl Ayers and her husband Dennis of Maynard, a sister Edna Mae Watkins of Wheeling, four grandchildren William K. Rinderer, Lisa (Tim) Monroe, Lori Perry, and Eric Ayres, three great grandchildren, and a sister-in law Iris (Bill) Creager. Friends will be received Mon. 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Tue., Apr. 13, 2004 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Dr. Bill N. Lawrence officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
