Joan (Ott) Barney, 84, of Martins Ferry, OH died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011 at EORH, Martins Ferry. She was born Aug. 9, 1926 in Pittsburgh, PA a daughter of the late Russell and Dewellia A. (Beattie) Ott. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Eugene O. Barney, and sister Dorothy Ott. Surviving is her son Gene R. Barney of Martins Ferry. Friends will be received Monday, Jan 31, 2011 from 11:00 am until time of services at 1:00 pm with Rev. William O. Webster officiating at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH.
