JOAN M. COSTELLO, 86, of Bridgeport, died Monday, January 28, 2008 at Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling. She was born May 26, 1921 in Wheeling, the daughter of the late John and Regina Bernhart Henry. Joan was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Wheeling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edward Costello and a daughter Gayle Costello. Joan is survived by three daughters Monique Willson and her husband John of Martins Ferry, Maureen Naegele and her husband Phil of Bridgeport and Michele Chory and her husband John of Columbus, OH; three sisters Ruth Henry of Bethlehem, Mary Allen of Glendale and Jeanie Bertozzi of Paden City; six grandchildren Heather, Justin, Erica, Jonathan, John and Cody; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, where Vigil services will be held at 7:00 pm. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with Father Richard Shoda as the celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling. Memorial contributions may be made to the House of the Carpenter or the Wheeling Catholic Charities.
