Joan M. (Davis) Dupke, 83, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at Liza's Place, Valley Hospice South, Wheeling, WV. She was born Nov. 30, 1929 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Reginald and Audree M. (Walters) Davis. Joan was a retired pre-school teacher with the First Christian Church School of Martins Ferry. She was a member of Bridgeport Chapter #452 Order of Eastern Star. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband George L. Dupke, a daughter Christy Nabor, brothers; Reginald "Ike", Herbert L., Russell G. and Joseph "Jodie" Davis, sisters; Lilyn D. Davis, Vivian R. Davis, and Audree I. Davis. Surviving are her daughters; Vicki Henery of Oregon, OH and Brenda (Walter) McMinn of Canonsburg, PA, grandchildren: David Smith, Mikole Andrews, Brady Prutch, and Casey Golovko and five great grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, from 10 am until 12 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry with Rev. William O. Webster officiating.
