Joan M. (Miller) Orkish, 73, of Maple Ave. Lansing, died Sunday September 6, 2009 at home. She was born July 27, 1936 in Martins Ferry, the daughter of the late Oscar and Dorothy (Goad) Miller. Joan was a retired employee of the Former Imperial Clevite Lansing. She truly loved children and also lived to play Bingo. Joan was preceded in death by four brothers; Russell, Tucker, Richard, John Miller, three sisters; Edna Burkett, Bernice Miller, and Ethel Mecker. She is survived her husband Thomas M. Orkish, three sons, Matt Marshall and his wife Shelley of Groveport, Oh, Mitch Marshall and his wife Kelly of Lansing, Thomas J. Orkish and his fianc e Teri Marsh of Dublin, Oh, three grand children; Michael and Morgan Marshall of Lansing and Tyler McCloud of Groveport, Oh. Visitation will be on Tuesday September 8, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, where services will be held on Wednesday at 10 am with Rev. Robert J.
