Joan B. Bachie, 85, of Bridgeport, OH, died February 17, 2019 at Wheeling Hospital.  She was born March 29, 1933, in Bridgeport, OH, a daughter of the late John R. and Eleanor (Brothers) Scheid.  Joan was retired from the former Hart's Family Center and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Bachie Sr.; sons, John (Bobby) Bachie, Sammy (Sam) Bachie, granddaughter, Lacey Thompson; and brother, Robert Scheid.    Joan is survived by her son, Ernest (Carol) Bachie Jr., of Bridgeport; brother, John Scheid; twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received Thursday, February 21, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd.
