Joan (Scheehle) Campbell Moore, 79, of Hawk Ct., Wheeling, WV formerly of Washington St., Martins Ferry, OH died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. She was born Dec. 30, 1928 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Thomas and Lil (Rothermund) Scheehle. She was retired from the Martins Ferry City Schools and was a former employee of Just You, Martins Ferry. Joan was a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Robert A. Campbell, a sister Betty McConnville, and a brother Robert Scheehle. Surviving are her husband Ivan R. Moore, three sons Robert "Mike" (Judy) Campbell of W. Chester, OH, Tyler Campbell of Grand Junction, CO, and Kevin (Connie) Campbell of West Wheeling, OH, two step-sons Dale (Kelly) Moore of Germanton, NC, and Scott (Margaret) Moore of Graham, WA, two step-daughters Sally (Bob) Byard of Phoenix, AR, and Gail (Ernie) Grubb of Seattle, WA, three sisters Alice (Vince) Lucarelli of St. Clairsville, OH, Helen Taylor of Shallotte, NC, and Blanche (Bill) Hagan of Thornville, OH, a brother Jack (Jean) Scheehle of Phoenix, AZ, four grandchildren Christina (Nick) Hoffman, Jennifer (Phil) Worley, Rob and Taylor Campbell, one great grandchild Melanie Worley, eight step- grandchildren, and one step-great grandchild. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008 at 1:00 pm with Rev. William O. Webster officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH. Elders of the Church will hold services Tuesday at 7 pm at the funeral home.
