JoAnn (Latimer) Conaway Knellinger, 86, of Martins Ferry, OH died Thursday, July 24, 2014 in East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born July 28, 1927 in Columbus, OH, a daughter of the late Alfred B. and Lorena B. (Murray) Latimer. She was a former employee of the Martins Ferry Public Library and also a member of the First United Methodist Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Howard J. Conaway and a great grandson Zander Covert. Surviving are her husband James W. Knellinger, son, Murray L. (Susan) Conaway of Belmont, OH, daughters; Beth (Bob) Spragg of Martins Ferry, Judi Knellinger of Knoxville, TN, Jackie (Robert) Clouse of Morristown, TN, Pam Hocking of Martins Ferry and Heidi (Cathy) Knellinger of Cincinnati OH, fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10:00 am at the First United Methodist Church, Martins Ferry with Revs. Madlynne Webber and Van D. Fisher officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
