Jobita M. "Punkin" Starliper, 86, of Mingo Junction, passed away December 1, 2016 at Villa Vista Royale Nursing Home. She was born July 28, 1930, in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Frank and Eloise (Hernandez) Martinez. She was a retired press operator at Satralloy Industries, an employee at Isaly's in Mingo Junction, and worked at the cafeteria at St. Agnes. She attended St. Agnes Catholic Church where she was a member of the Catholic Women's Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Starliper in 2009; brothers, Michael, David, and Raymond Martinez; and sisters, Sister Jovita (Mary) Martinez, and Margaret Smith. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday, December 4 from 4p.m. to 8p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 115 Union Ave. Mingo Junction, OH 43938. Wake services to be held at 4p.m. Friends will be received Monday at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 204 St. Clair St., Mingo Junction, OH from 9a.m. until time of mass 10a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 10a.m. with Father James M.
