John R. Anderson, Jr., 52, of S. Third St., Martins Ferry, OH died Friday, Nov. 18, 2005 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. He was born May 2, 1953 in Martins Ferry a son of the late John R. and Virginia L. (Butler) Anderson, Sr. John was a retired caseworker for the Jefferson Behavioral Health Agency of Steubenville and a member of the First Christian Church, Martins Ferry. Surviving are a son J. R. Anderson, III of Martins Ferry, a daughter Nicole Anderson of Rocky Mountain, NC, and two brothers Bob (Becky ) Anderson of Martins Ferry and Rick (Ruthann) Anderson of Mt. Pleasant, OH. Friends will be received Tuesday 1-4 PM and 6-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church, Martins Ferry with Minister Rod Kasler officiating. Burial follows at the convenience of the family in Linwood Cemetery, Blaine, OH.
