John Lawrence Baker Jr., 65, of Bridgeport, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 in his residence.  He was born on May 22, 1955 in Martins Ferry a son of the late, John L. and Jacqueline (Wilson) Baker Sr.  John attended the River View Bible Church, was a member of the Sportsman Club and was an Avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State Buckeye fan.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his children, Lana (Andrew) Myers, Clint Cash, John L. Baker III, Whitney Baker and Ali Baker; 2 sisters, Ruth (Larry) Davies and Mandy Baker; 4 brothers, Robert Baker, Ronald (Darlene) Baker, Donald (Terri) Baker and James (Cindy) Baker; a sister-in-law, Laura Baker; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Terry Baker.
