John Franklin Becca, 68, of Rayland, passed away Friday October 22, 2021, in Wheeling Hospital.  He was born on March 3, 1953, in Cleveland, OH a son of the late Charles and Joyce (Gilman) Becca.  He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church, co-owner and general manager of the family business, Bec-wood Hills Golf Course, an avid golfer he played on the Ohio Valley Golf Tournament Circuit for many years, he also enjoyed playing his guitar, and played in a band with his brother for many years.

John is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Pamela (Boston) Becca; children, Jackie (Jason) Lude, Rachel Donley, Abbey Becca, Michael Becca, and Ashley Becca; a brother, Timothy Becca; a sister, Ruth Becca; 6 grandchildren, Alexander, Alizabeth, Addy, Elaina, Braelyn and Luke, and several nieces and nephews. John left a lasting impact on everyone that was fortunate enough to know and loved him.  He will be sadly missed.

Friends may call Saturday from 12-3 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry.  A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 3 pm in the funeral home with Reverend James Hoff officiating.
