John W. Burch, 73, of Martins Ferry, OH died Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at home. He was born November 3, 1945 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Ralph and Geneieve (Wolanin) Burch.

John was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Martins Ferry and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from Picoma Industries.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings; Robert and William Burch, Mary Milbert and Barbara Vennon.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Barbara (Ellis) Burch, his children; Bruce Burch, Barbara (Boyd) Carpino and Marlese (Nahum) Lopez all of Martins Ferry, siblings; Joseph Burch and Helen Cecil both of Martins Ferry, and Margaret Cole of Bridgeport, OH, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Friends and family will be received Friday 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Tom Marut officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry. Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book at the top of this posting.
