John Scott Dillon, 57, of Martins Ferry, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023, in Wheeling Hospital.  He was born on December 11, 1965, a son of James and Lois (Platt) Dillon.  John served his country in the United States Air Force, was a member of the Mill Wright and Pile Drivers Union Local 1090, ran the torch for the 2006 Sumer Olympics and enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars.

He is survived by his parents; a son, Cody Dillon; three brothers, Jeff (Kathy) Dillon, James (Sherry) Dillon and Jay (Kathy) Dillon; and several nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by a son, Hunter Dillon.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are entrusted to Wilson Funeral, 920 National Rd., Brookside.
