John J. Dolak, 86, of Adena, OH died December 26, 2017 at his home. He was born May 19, 1931, in Barton, OH, a son of the late Michael and Mary (Hulek) Dolak. He was retired from Tri-State Asphalt, was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Korean War, was a Catholic by faith and a member of the Adena American Legion. He was preceded in death by his brothers; Mike and Joe Dolak; sisters, Helen Pinter, Pauline Husvar, and Mary Pabian. He is survived by his children; John Michael (Carol) Dolak of Farmington, Bruce (Shelley) Dolak of Adena, Debbie (Jim) Moore of Adena, and James "Spider" Dolak of Barton; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and his beloved dog Sy.
