John David Goldberg, 73, of Wheeling, WV passed away at Liza’s place on October 3, 2026. He was born on September 7, 1953, a son of the late Samuel and Barbara (Sieber) Goldberg.

John served in the United States Army. He enjoyed watching sports, especially his favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. John loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He also loved hot rod cars. He enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, David Joseph (DJ) Goldberg, and brother, Daniel Goldberg.

Left with cherished memories are his daughter, Barbara (Donald) Mew; grandsons, Nathan Mew, Adam Mew; sister, Esther Goldberg; brother, Matthew Becker.

Per John’s request, there will be no services. Wilson Funeral Home, Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut Street, Martins Ferry, Ohio 43935 is honored to assist the family.
