John William "Bill" Greenlee, 90, of Bridgeport, OH passed away December 30, 2016 at home. He was born March 10, 1926, in Bridgeport, OH a son of the late Goldie Nash Greenlee. He was a retired bailiff for the Belmont County Courthouse, a former Ohio State Highway Patrolman and an Army Veteran serving in WWII. He was very active in the Church of God in Brookside, OH. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sisters; Ruth Poulain and Dorothy Scarfpin. John is survived by his wife, Joan (Berry) Greenlee; his children, Scott W. (Lori) Greenlee of St. Clairsville, OH, Todd Greenlee of Farmington Hills, MI and Chad (Sara) Greenlee of Denver, CO; and grandchildren, Brooke, Conner, and Elle Greenlee. Friends will be received at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912 on Monday, January 2nd from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Friends will also be received Tuesday, January 3rd from 11a.m. until the time of funeral services at noon at the Church of God in Brookside, OH with Pastor Kevin Roseberry officiating.
