John H. Griffith 80, of Hopedale, passed away Tuesday June 13, 2023, at Cumberland Pointe Care Center St. Clairsville. He was born December 10, 1942, in Canton, Ohio, a son of the late John J. and Emily E. (Morris) Griffith.

He was a veteran in the US Air Force, he loved fishing and hunting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Arthur and Walker Griffith.

John is survived by his daughter Kim (Carl) Barnes of Blaine, a sister Valli (Richard) Mclaughlin of Ocala, FL, grandchildren Christine Schaeffer of Bridgeport, and James (Elizabeth Wilson) Hendershot of Holloway, 4 great grandchildren Anthony Barsotti, Joshua Freeman, Nevaeh Hendershot, and Emma Wilkins.

According to John's wishes there will be no visitation and private interment will be held at Union Cemetery St. Clairsville. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Riad Brookside assisting the family.
