John J. "John John" Jurovcik Jr. 80, of Blaine, passed away Friday March 20, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 30, 1945, in Wheeling, the son of the late John J. Sr. and Frances (Dubil) Jurovcik.

He was retired from Bridgeport School System and Belmont Collage in the maintenance Department, a Catholic by faith. He was a member of the Lansing Sportsman Club, the Piedmont Fishing Club, and the Fairpoint Polish Club, Ohio Valley River Elks and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy.  John loved fishing, bowling and was a drummer in the Polish Americans band.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Frank" Shank" Jurovcik, and granddaughter, Rebecca Scheid.

John is survived by his loving wife Brenda E. (Dyson) Jurovcik, his children David (Maxine) Jurovcik, Michelle (Eric) Sheets, Carrie (Eric Bowers) Jurocvik, Michael (Roxanne)Scheid, Russell Scheid, Harriett (Allen) Hunter, Glenda (Tim) Bodemann, and Gail (Keith) Myer,14 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren, a sister Barbara "Bunny" (Andy) Ballog.

Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Thursday March 26, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Virgil Services will be at 2:30 on Thursday.  Funeral service will be Friday, March 27, at 11 am at the funeral home, Fr. Thomas Chillog officiating.  Full Military Honors will be held at 10:45 am by the Belmont County Veteran Association.   Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

A Blood Drive will be held in John's memory on May 22, 2026, at the Moran Community Center, 68583 Scott St., Bridgeport, OH 43912.
