KALONICK, John A., 72, of Morninglow Lane, Adena, died Wednesday June 9, 2010, in East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. He was born December 28, 1937, a son of the late John and Anna Mysona Kalonick. John was a K of C Grand Knight 3rd degree; a member of the Bee Keepers Association, a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church, Adena; former auto parts manager with Valley Ford and Bauer Ford, and his passions were farming and cooking. John is survived by his wife, Maud Kirkpatrick Kalonick; a daughter, Patricia Kalonick Dailey and her husband Alan of Parma, Ohio; three sons: John Kalonick and his wife Sandy of Beaver, PA., Michael Kalonick and his wife Jennifer of Steelton, PA., and Daniel Kalonick of Lexington, KY., two sisters: Joan French and husband Ed of Solon, Ohio and Sue Daniloff of Northfield Center, Ohio; three grandchildren: Alison Dailey, Averie and Caine Kalonick. Friends will be received Sunday 1-6 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, where vigil service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Casimir Catholic Church, Adena, with Monsignor John Kolesar, officiating.
