John Adam Kiaski, 78, of Mount Pleasant, Ohio, passed Monday October 1, 2012 at his home. He was born on July 24, 1934, a son of the late Adam and Lucy Gobel Kiaski. He was the owner and operator of Johnny's Gulf for nearly 50 years; former Mt. Pleasant Mayor, Water Board member, avid Mechanic and drag racer, and huge Steeler fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Reynolds. John is survived by his wife Janet Koran Kiaski; a son: Dale Kiaski (Annette), two daughters: Diane Sells and Denise Rusiecki (Robert), stepson; Richard Stemkowski (Christina), sister: Barbara Jean Tokar (Bill); brother: Billy Kiaski (Jackie); brother in law: Lou Reynolds; his best friends, Jason Kovalski and Johnny Oleksiak; several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Friends are invited to a Memorial Service at Friends Church, Mt. Pleasant, on Saturday October 6, 2012 at 1:00 p.m., Rev. Wayne Ickes, officiating.
