Marsh, John S. 80, of Wheeling died Tuesday February 5, 2013 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born November 19, 1932 in Wheeling, a son of the late John M. and Blanche P. (Goff) Marsh. John was a graduate from Martins Ferry High School Class of 1950. U.S. Fleet Sonar School Key West Fl. He retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Martins Ferry Plant in 1994, a Veteran of the US Navy in Korea, a member of the Belmont Lodge # 16 St. Clairsville where he was Grand Master in 1985, he also attended Marietta College. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Eleanor "Ivy" (Nickerson) Marsh, and sister-in-law Carolyn Marsh, three step-sons Richard (Dick), John (Fritz), and Wilbert (Bill) Byrne. John is survived by his loving second wife Valory (Wyeth) Kuntupis Marsh, a daughter Vicki Stout Vanchure and her husband Rich of St. Clairsville, a granddaughter Angel Stoudt Luyster of Perrysville, Ohio, great grandchildren Alexa Stoudt, Mackenna, Lily Lynn, and Kaden Luyster, a brother Ivan Marsh of Rogers Ark. A step-daughter Rebecca (Becky) Reiss and her husband Mike of Tampa Fl., four step-sons Doug (Lynn) Byrne, and Jack (Linda) Byrne both of St. Clairsville, Daren M. Kuntupis and his wife Jeri of Las Vegas, NV. and Stephen C. Kuntupis of Boise, Id is 24 step-grandchildren, and 18 step- great grandchildren. According to John's wishes there will be no visitation and private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
