John M. "Mike" Carr 59, of Bridgeport, passed away Saturday January 3, 2026, at Cumberland Pointe Care Center St. Clairsville surrounded by his family. He was born May 11, 1966, in Washington, PA. The son of the late Ronald Carr and Nancy Lee (Plymire) Wallace.

He was a Chef for Wheeling Island Racetrack and Casino. He loved going on cruises, the band Kiss, and the Carolina Panthers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Michael T.M. Carr, and a brother Thomas Myers.

Mike is survived by  his children Seth (Jennie) Nelson, and Shannon Russell, a brother Doug Carr of Monongahela, and a sister Lisa (Bill) Schultz of Washington PA, a lifelong friend Bobbie (Brent) Kovas, and his Fancy Face "Charmin", eight grandchildren Scarlette Carr, Oaklee Russell, Jalynn Fike, Jessika, Jordon, Alexis, Isabella, and Jonah Nelson, three nephews Nicholes Cox, Noah Carr, and Kyle Schultz.

According to Mike's wishes there will be no visitation, and private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Wilson Funeral Home 920 national Road Brookside assisting the family.
