John P. Pintarich Sr. 89, of Neff's formerly of Bridgeport, died Friday October 18, 2013 at Country Club Retirement Estates Bellaire. He was born March 19, 1924 in Bridgeport, a son of the late John and Rose (Glivar) Pintarich. He was a retired manager for the New Co-Operative Store in Neff's, a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church Bridgeport, a veteran of WW II in the US Navy, the SNPJ Lodge, and the Neff's American Legion Post # 77. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers Gerald R. Sr., Frank, and Robert Pintarich. John is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Pricilla (Good) Pintarich, sons John P. Pintarich of Neff's, and Mike A. Pintarich of Glen Robins, daughters Theresa (George) Palmer of Shadyside, Kathleen J. (Mike) Lenzi of Kingman AZ, Patti (Ron) Regoli of Delaware, Ohio, and Carol Jane Wagner of Fairpoint, three brothers Ted, Rich, and Pete Pintarich, three sisters Helen Hood, Caroline Millard, and Marlene Robson, fourteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Monday October 21, 2013 from 5-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church Bridgeport with Fr. John Mucha as Celebrant, interment will be at St. Anthony Cemetery Blaine.
