John A. Podsobinski, 84, of Belmont, Ohio passed away, Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Emerald Pointe Nursing Home and Rehab Center. He was born March 4, 1927 in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, son of the late Joseph Podsobinski and Bertha Czarneski Podsobinski. John was a World War II Army Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Frank and Edward Podsobinski; and sisters, Rita and Stella Podsobinski, Evelyn Unghajer, and Josephine Hale. John is survived by his wife of 40 years, Karole (Patterson) Podsobinski; daughters, Amy (Jeff) Fahner of Zanesville, Ohio and Lori Podsobinski of Belmont, Ohio; sons, Larry Podsobinski of Barnesville, Ohio and Dan Podsobinksi of Tennessee; sister, Irene Chesney of California; brother, Raymond (Empala) Podsobinski of California; and grandchildren Grant and Casey Podsobinski. Family and friends may call, Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Monsignor Mark J. Froehlich will be officiating. Interment will take place at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda, Ohio.
