John T. Roper, 55, of Martins Ferry, OH, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2011 at his residence. He was born Jan. 3, 1956 in Martins Ferry, OH a son of the late Edward V. and Marilyn M. (Moran) Roper He is survived by a daughter Jessica Proctor of Waynesville, NC, a sister Patricia A. Roper of Shadyside, OH, and two grandchildren Sebastian and Rayanne Roper. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Monday, Jan. 24, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Grace Presbyterian Church, 7th N. 4th St., Martins Ferry, OH with Rev. William O. Webster officiating.
