JOHN "YASHEK" RUSIECKI, 84, of Lakeview Dr., Pleasant Grove, died Friday, May 15, 2009 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. He was born July 24, 1924 in Dillonvale, the son of the late Bolek and Frances (Strupceski) Rusiecki. John retired from Consolidated Coal Company in Georgetown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Sophie Bonaventure. John is survived by his wife of 62 years Helen (Faldoski) Rusiecki; a son Robert John Rusiecki and his wife Denise of Colerain; two daughters Marilyn Brzney, and her husband Frank of Bellaire and Joanne Iadanza and her husband Nino of Canton; two brothers Bolek and Edward Rusiecki both of Dillonvale; a sister Jane Rusiecki of Brunswick, OH; as well as six grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday 7-9 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale, where funeral services will be held Monday at 10 am with Father Dale Tornes officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
