John Sidorak, 90, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry OH. He was born Sept. 19, 1927 in Glen Robbins, OH a son of the late Andy C. and Mary (Wallo) Sidorak.

He was retired from the Bricklayers Union Local #9, Bellaire, OH and also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lee (DeVault) Sidorak, sister, Ann Vargo and brothers; Andy Sidorak and Mike Vassel.

Surviving are his daughters; Mary Jo (Bill) Griffiths of Colerain, OH and Nancy A. (Joseph) Lagowski of Louisville, KY, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Friends will be received Thursday, 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 18, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry with Rev. Tom Marut officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
