John Spoljar John Spoljar, 79, of Mt. Pleasant, OH died Tues., Oct. 8, 2002 at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH. He was born Nov. 9, 1922 in Boggs Run, OH a son of the late Fabijan and Kata Spoljar. He was a retired molder for the former Blaw-Knox Foundry of Wheeling and was the retired water superintendent for the Village of Mt. Pleasant, OH. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Magdalene Kokai. Surviving are his wife Slavica (Jambrek) Spoljar, a son Fabijan Spoljar of Mt. Pleasant, a daughter-in-law Carla, two sisters Annie Bigos of Pleasant Grove, and Mary Mores of Warren, and a granddaughter Ayla Renee Spoljar. Friends will be received Thurs. 6-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Fri., Oct. 11, 2002 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Bernie Krajcovic officiating. Burial follows in Highland Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, OH.
