John Suriano, 76 of S. Ridge Dr., Martins Ferry, OH died Thurs., Dec. 9, 2004 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH. He was born Mar. 31, 1928 at Martins Ferry a son of the late Louis and Amelia (Falbo) Suriano, Sr. He was retired from the former Picoma Industries of Martins Ferry. John was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church; the former V.F.W. Post #3613, and the Bulltown Reunion Committee all of Martins Ferry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Anthony "Tony" Suriano and an infant sister. Surviving are his wife Lois Ann (Davis) Suriano, a son John D. Suriano and his wife Dana of Martins Ferry, four brothers Vincent Suriano and his wife Evelyn, Joseph Suriano and his wife Dolores, Louis Suriano, Jr. and his wife Patti, and Frank Suriano and his wife Carol all of Martins Ferry, two sisters Elvera Hogue and Emily Ruskowski. both of Martins Ferry, two granddaughters Brittany and Addie, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Fri., 2-4 and 6-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Sat., Dec., 11, 2004 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry with Rev. Thomas A. Magary officiating. Burial follows in St. Mary's Cemetery, Martins Ferry. Rosary devotions will be recited Fri. at 3:00 PM followed by Wake services at 8:00 PM both in the funeral home.
