JOHN TURKAL, 91, of Westfield Center, OH, formerly of Dillonvale died Monday April 7, 2008 at Wadsworth - Rittman Hospital, Wadsworth, OH. He was born August 23, 1916 in Robyville, OH the son of the late Frank and Anna Turkal. John was the former Owner/Operator of Havlicek's General Store, a lifetime member of the American Legion Mc Cook Post 529 and the Dillonvale Fraternal Order of Eagles. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters; Mandy Havlicek, Mary Turkal, and Stella Schrickel and four brothers; Joseph, Frank, George, and Steve Turkal. John is survived by his wife of 64 years, Erma Turkal of Westfield Center, OH, a sister, Ermina Ciechomski of Pleasant Grove, OH and fourteen nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service Sunday at 1 PM, at Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, Pleasant Grove, Ohio with Rev. Michael Lenno officiating.
