John A. Vinka, 60, of Barnesville, OH, died Friday April 16, 2010 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. He was born August 26, 1949 in Bellaire, OH, the son of John and Marcella (Williams) Vinka. John was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of the United States Polka Association and was employed at Century Mine. John was preceded in death by his father, John Vinka. John is survived by his mother Marcella (Williams) Vinka of Bellaire; his wife Sue (Rogalsky) Vinka; two daughters, Melissa (Dennis) Woods of Shadyside, Johnetta Vinka of the home; two brothers, Victor "Butch" Vinka, Donald Gene Vinka; three sisters, Mary Catherine Swoboda, Betty Ann (Nelson) Coulter, Janet Sue Neal, and two grandchildren, Nicole and Alex. Visitation will be on Sunday April 18, 2010 from 12 - 3 & 5 - 8 pm, at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, OH., where services will be held on Monday at 11 am with Reverend Ray Benesh officiating and full Military Services will be held by the Belmont County Council of the V.F.W. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville, OH.
