Obituary

John F. Williams, 72, of Bethesda, OH, died Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH. He was born August 22, 1944 in Bellaire, OH a son of the late Earl and Doris (Farmer) Williams.
He was a former coal miner and contractor and loved to drive a school bus for Barnesville Schools.
John was a member of Hazen Lodge #251 F. & A.M., Bethesda and a Methodist.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four sisters.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy E. (Walters) Williams and his children; Lee (Durr) Suckel and Matthew Williams both of Columbus, OH.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements by Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH.
