John Andrew Worwa Sr., 63 of Dillonvale, passed away Monday, June 29, 2020 in Wheeling Hospital.  He was born in Germany on July 16, 1956 a son of the late Stanley and Sylvia (Sowers) Worwa.  He was a US Army Veteran.  John was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church, a life member of the DAV and enjoyed working on his farm and repairing cars and trucks.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sharon (Faunda) Worwa; 2 daughters, Michelle (Chris) Atwood and Sandy (Kenneth) Coleman; a son, John (Jamey) Worwa Jr.; 2 brothers, George and Stanley P. Worwa; 4 sisters, Mary Ann Melching, Kathy Supanik, Rose Bonecutter and Linda Sempkowski; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

John was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Jessica VanMeter and a brother, Mike Worwa.

Friends will be received Saturday from 1-4 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale.  Service will be held at 4 pm with Pastor James Hoff officiating.
