John M. "Yush" Sall, Jr., 85, of Colerain, OH, died Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH. He was born December 7, 1931 in Florence, OH a son of the late John M. and Mary A. (Glump) Sall. He was the self-employed owner-operator of John Sall Trucking. John was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force as a Radio Operator in Germany and on the Azores Islands during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian I. (Mozie) Sall. Surviving are his daughter, Kathy Jo (Robert) Finney of Colerain, brothers; Robert (Pal) Sall of Martins Ferry, Michael "Pete" Sall of Colerain, and Frank (Becky) Sall of Cadiz, OH, and a sister, Shirley (Richard) Sambuco of St. Clairsville. The family wishes a special thanks to Dr. Joseph Gabis and Dr. Adel Frenn and staff for their many years of cardiac care. Family and friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, Saturday 6-8 pm and Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 pm. where funeral services will be held, Monday, March 13, 2017, at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Bill N. Lawrence officiating. Burial follows in Upland Cemetery, Yorkville, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Colerain Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 3, Colerain, OH 43916.
