Joseph G. Bodnar, 75, of Wheeling, WV past away Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Liza's Place, Wheeling, WV surrounded by his loving family. He was born Nov. 25, 1937 in Martins Ferry, OH a son of the late Steve and Martha (Rykowski) Bodnar. He was retired from Smoker Friendly Liquor Plus, Wheeling, WV. Joseph was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling, WV. Surviving are his wife of 55 years Kathleen "Teddy" (Russell) Bodnar, three daughters; Kathy (Ralph) Barries of Martins Ferry, Kelly (Dennis) Berton of Canonsburg, PA and Kristine (Joseph) Grubler of Wheeling, six grandchildren; Joshua Withers of Canonsburg, PA Megan and Bailey Barries both of Martins Ferry, Aidan, Ava and Addison Grubler all of Wheeling, and a great grandchild; Mackenzie Withers of Canonsburg, PA. Friends will be received Tuesday 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Wednesday May15, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling, WV with Fr. Raju Anthony officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to Liza's Place, c/o Valley Hospice, 308 Mt.
