Joseph William Drewett, 82, of Bridgeport, OH joined his wife in heaven on the morning of Thursday March 17th, 2016. He was born August 11, 1933 in Bellaire, a son of the late Horace and Martha (Oberle) Drewett. He was a retired employee of Mehlman's Cafeteria and a member of the Brookside Church of God. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Linda K. Drewett in 2002, and two sisters, Doris Cordery, and Lillian Siculan. Joseph is survived by two daughters Stacy (Drewett) Phillips and Holly Drewett both of Brideport, two brothers Horace Drewett of Martins Ferry and John (Linda) Drewett of Shadyside, a sister Carol Crook (George) Dormstetter of Lansing, and three grandchildren, Darrick Phillips, Kearsten Drewett, and Landyn Carlier, and his loving cat Cinnamon. Joseph was very involved with his grandchildren and loved going to all of their activities. He was a member of Lansing Senior Services where he had many good friends that he loved dearly. Joseph was a huge Cleveland Browns fan. Friends will be received at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road Brookside on Sunday March 20th, 2016 from 2-5pm, where services will be held on Monday at 11AM with Rev. Mary Lou Adams officiating, interment in Linwood Cemetery Blaine.
