Joseph C. Fischer, 82 of Aetna St, Martins Ferry, OH, died Wed. May 4, 2005 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. He was born Apr. 17, 1923 in Wheeling, WV a son of the late Albert and Freda (Debold) Fischer. He was retired from Met Tech, Cambridge, OH and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry and a veteran of U. S. Army WW II. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Jackie Varner and two grandsons Brad and Jeff Thomas. Surviving are his wife Gloria F. (Camplese)Fischer, three sons Wayne and James Thomas both of Wheeling and John Thomas of FL, a daughter Cheryl Barr of Columbus, OH, two sisters Pat Quinn and Lil Rose, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Friends will be received Sat., May 7, 2005 from 11:00 AM till time of services at 1:00 PM with Fr. Thomas A. Magary officiating at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
