Joseph Leonard Hagan, 61, of Beallsville, Ohio passed away at the Arbors at Woodsfield on January 12, 2023.  He was born on January 19, 1961 in Baltimore, Maryland, a son of the late Steven and Hilda Hagan.

Joe was an old soul with a heart of gold.  He was a former volunteer fire department member who loved helping anyone and everyone.  He never met a stranger and enjoyed riding tractors.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Hagan, and a sister, Elizabeth Boittnott.

Left to cherish his memory are a brother, Richard Hagan; a sister, Ruth Longnecker; nephews, Richard Hagan, Daniel Hagan; niece, Cristi Yingling; and a very special friend, MJ Kisner.

Friends and family are encouraged to visit on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 12pm to the time of service at 2pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, Harper Chapel, 52728 Ohio Ave., Beallsville, Ohio 43716.  Burial will follow to the Beallsville Cemetery.
