Joseph R. Kitlak, 59, of Martins Ferry, OH died Friday, March 13, 2015 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. He was born July 4, 1955 in Wheeling, WV a son of Raymond and Pat (Marshall) Kitlak. Joe was a machinist at AK Steel, Follansbee, WV and Vice President of United Steel Workers Local #9545. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Martins Ferry. He was preceded in death by his wife Sara B. (Shirk) Kitlak. In addition to his parents of Martins Ferry he is survived by his children David (Amanda Heath) Kitlak of Urichsville, OH, Daniel (Nikki Hull-Fiancé) of Canton, OH, Katie (Martin) Cervantes of Coopersburg, PA, Ashley M. Shirk and Matthew R. Kitlak both of Martins Ferry, a sister Dale Lynn (Sam) Lampasone of Tiltonsville, OH and a special friend Joanne Orsini of Steubenville, OH. Family and friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH Monday 3-7 pm. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 12 pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry with Rev. Tom Marut officiating.
