Joseph Kolvek, Jr. 74, of Martins Ferry passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Trinity West Hospital, Steubenville.

Joe was born on September 7, 1947 in McKeesport, PA, son of the late Joseph and Mary (Znavor) Kolvek.

He was retired from the Zerox Corporation Robinson PA and Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel. Joe was a devote member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Martins Ferry and was a member of the U.S. Army Reserves.

Joe was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Jo Ellen (Dorsey) Kolvek, son Michael (Melissa) Kolvek of Shadyside and grandchildren Cameron and Benjamin Kolvek. He was preceded in death by his only brother Robert E. Kolvek. He leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Friday, October 8, 2021, from 5 till 8 at the Wilson Funeral Home, Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St. Martins Ferry. A mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, October 9, at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry with Fr. Thomas Marut.
