Joseph Leluika Joseph Leluika, 84, of Columbus Ave., Martins Ferry, OH died Thurs., Jul 25, 2002 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV. He was born Sept. 18, 1917 in Pittsburgh, PA a son of the late Joseph and Pearl Goryc Leluika. He was retired from the former Picoma Industries of Martins Ferry, a member of the D.A.V. of Bellaire, V.F.W. Post No. 3613 of Martins Ferry, and a veteran of U. S. Army WW II. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons Edward Jay and Harry Louis Leluika, a granddaughter Heather Leluika, three brothers Paul, John and Casmir Leluika, and a sister Anna Myers. Surviving are his wife of fifty-five years Katherine Deaton Leluika, two sons Joseph I. Leluika and his wife Brenda of N. Huntingdon, PA, Paul Leluika of Ashland, OH, three daughters Jessie Berdrow and her husband William of Albany, OR, Kathy Strid and her husband Joel of Douglas , WY and Tiny Leluika Hoffer of Martins Ferry, a brother Edward Leluika of Wheeling, a sister Laura Beck and her husband William of Wheeling, ten grandchildren Danette, David, and Cindy Berdrow, Scott Hoffer, Jason, and Jennifer Strid, Justin, Nicholas, Houston, and Anthony Leluika, and five great grandchildren Kathyn, Berdrow, Shaianne, and Andrew Hoffer, Samantha O'Leachia, Courtney Berdrow, and Louden O'Leachia. Friends will be received Tues 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Wed. at 11:00 AM with Pastor Peter L. Pilger officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH with full military graveside honors by the Belmont Co. Council of the VFW.
