Obituary

Joseph E. Lucki, 87, of Wheeling formerly of Bridgeport, died Tuesday September 1, 2015 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born September 24, 1927 in Bridgeport, a son of the late Ralph N. and Mary A. (Svaldo) Lucki. He was a retired employee of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Yorkville Plant, also co-owner of the former Lucki Brothers Excavating, and co-owner of the former Bob's Gulf Station Bridgeport, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst and an Army Veteran of WW II. Joe was an avid Notre Dame and Yankee fan. Joe was a member of the Foresters, Lansing Sportsman Club, the Ohio Valley Branch of ME-MMA, also Bridgeport High School Class of 1946 In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Marie Alice (Krob) Lucki, and his second wife Joyce (Knowlton) Lucki, two brothers Ralph, and Martin Lucki, and a sister Edith Meigh. Joe is survived by two daughters Diane (Joey) Donkersloot of St. James City FL, and Sandee (Jay) Morgan of Shadyside, two step-daughters Adri Bossie of Colorado Springs, CO, and Cindy McCray of Hurricane, WV, a Sister Alice Kyanko of St. Clairsville, grandchildren Chantael Smith, Lucas (Holly) Morgan, Ethan and Olivia Morgan, step grandchildren Megan, Dylan, and Madison Bossie, Kyle and Collin McCray. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home Friday September 4, 2015 from 3-8 pm with wake services to be recited at 3 at the Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. John Mucha as celebrant, interment will be in Linwood Cemetery Blaine.
