Obituary

Joseph J. Malarski, Jr. 75 of Martins Ferry passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023, at his residence.  He was born November 2, 1948, in Cincinnati the son of the late Joseph J. and Delores (Miller) Malarski.

Joe retired from Whiteside's of St. Clairsville and Robinson Dealership of Wheeling.  He was a former member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.  He was a member of the Cave Club, I. O. A Club and Snake Club all of Wheeling, and the Bellaire VFW Post 626.  He was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving his country in the Vietnam Conflict.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn J. (Fulton) Malarski in 2018, brother, Ronnie Malarski.

Surviving is his very dear friend Shirley Bowman, children, Josh (Stacy) Malarski of Cincinnati, Stephanie L. (Keith) Wahl of Zanesville, Corrie Frohnapfel of SC, grandchildren, Tyler Guminski, Alaina, Lauren Wahl and Seth Malarski, brother, Gregory Malarski.

Family will receive friends Thursday, December 7, at Wilson Funeral Home-Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH 43935 from 10 till time of Service at 1pm.  Full Military Honors will be presented by the Belmont County Veterans Association at 10:30am at the Funeral Home.  Burial will follow the funeral service at 1pm at the Riverview Cemetery in Martins Ferry.
