Joseph M. Papp, 65, of Wheeling formerly of Dillonvale, passed away Friday August 21, 2020 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born April 27, 1955 in Martins Ferry, a son of the late Michael Sr. and Jennie (Abromovich) Papp.

He was the caretaker for his loving mother, and a Christian by faith.

In addition to his parents Joe was preceded in death by his sister Ilona Trouten.

Joe is survived by his siblings Michael Papp Jr. of Dillonvale, Thomas Papp of Altamonte Springs FL, and Monica (Andrew) Deitch of Harrisville, a brother-in-law Arnold Trouten Sr., also several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 154 Second St. Dillonvale on Thursday August 27, 2020 from 11 till time of service at 1 pm, with Pastor Vernon "Chip" Rose officiating, interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Metropolitan Baptist Church 3401 Chapline St. Wheeling WV 26003.
