Joseph K. Sempkowski Sr., 84, of Glen Robbins died Saturday February 6, 2016 at Valley Hospice North Steubenville. He was born July 22, 1931 in Glen Robbins, a son of the late Joseph and Sadie (Sickoski) Sempkowski. He was an employee of the former Ferro-Alloy in Brilliant for 24 years, and a retired employee of the Buckeye School System with 25 years of service. He was a member of the Glen Robbins Presbyterian Church, a vital member of the Tappan Lake Camping Community, and a member of C.A.P. In addition to his parents Joe was preceded in death by two brothers Don, and John Sempkowski. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Eve (Snyder) Sempkowski, two sons Joseph K. Sempkowski Jr. of Rayland, and Robert (Mary) Sempkowski of Abilene, TX. A daughter Janet (Daniel) Loughner of Glen Robbins, two brothers Kenneth (Betty) Sempkowski of Glen Robbins, and George Sempkowski of Yorkville, two sisters Geneva (Wayne) Davis, and Rosalie Davis both of Glen Robbins, three grandchildren Robert, Gabrielle, and Anthony Sempkowski, also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 102 Main St. Tiltonsville on Monday February 8, 2016 from 4-8 pm, where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am with Pastor Cindy Foster officiating, interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
